PALM COAST, Fla. - Update: An 80-year-old man was found dead on the side of the road in Palm Coast Friday morning, according to the Flagler County Sheriff's Office.
During a news conference, deputies said that evidence at the scene on Lewis Drive suggests the man died in an apparent suicide.

There is a heavy law enforcement presence on Lewis Drive in Palm Coast as Flagler County deputies investigate a death that happened in the area, officials said in a social media post.
Residents are asked to avoid the area.
Few details have been released regarding the incident but, deputies said there is no immediate threat to the community.
