ORLANDO, Fla. - A warehouse fire in Orange County briefly threatened homes early Wednesday evening but has since been contained, officials said.
Located southeast of the intersection of S. Orange Ave. and E. Landstreet Rd. in Taft, the fire was fully involved when crews arrived at the scene. Firefighters contained the flames inside the approximately 3,000-square-foot warehouse, which houses an auto repair shop and a furniture shop.
A preliminary investigation reveals the fire may have started in the furniture shop. Witnesses told FOX 35 News they heard multiple explosions.
The warehouse property owner told FOX 35 News that the building had recently undergone a fire inspection and passed without any concerns.
