Fire at Orlando apartment building injures two, officials say

ORLANDO, Fla. - Two people were transported to a hospital following a fire at an Orlando apartment complex, according to the Orlando Fire Department.

Fire officials initially responded to reports of a kitchen fire at an apartment building in the 1600 block of Mercy Drive on Sunday.

Officials said two patients had to be transported for burn injuries from the fire.

The severity of their injuries is not yet known.

Fire officials have not said what may have caused the fire.
