FHP: Orange County fatal crash leads to DUI arrest

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. - One woman is dead, and another woman has been arrested after a fatal crash early Sunday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash happened shortly after 4 a.m. on South Orange Blossom Trail just south of Skyview Dr.  

FHP says a woman was crossing the street and entered the path of a vehicle driven by 26 year-old Alyssa Winters.  The woman was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center where she was pronounced deceased. Winters was then arrested for DUI.

The victim has not been identified.  FHP says the case remains under investigation.
