The world's largest swimming lesson at Typhoon Lagoon

The World’s Largest Swimming Lesson is an annual event held at a variety of locations across the world, designed to empower children with the skills and knowledge they need to swim safely and help prevent drowning. This year marks the event’s 15th anniversary and Disney's Typhoon Lagoon is hosting the largest swim lesson in the country. FOX 35's Marley Capper spoke with some of the cast members making this event possible.

Beginning in 2025, if you're staying at any of Disney’s resort hotels, you’ll receive complimentary entry to either Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach on your check-in day.

Walt Disney World said the exclusive offer is valid for guests checking in from January 1 to December 31, 2025. All individuals listed on the room reservation will be eligible for the free water park access.

"This new perk joins the suite of other benefits of staying in a Disney Resort hotel, including complimentary transportation, extra time in the theme parks, early access to dining reservations and Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass and more," a Disney World spokesperson said in a statement.

No park reservation is required for the water parks, but Disney suggests checking the operating hours of the water parks closer to your travel dates to plan your visit.
