Teen seriously hurt in shooting along International Drive, Orange County deputies say
A 16-year-old boy was taken to the hospital Friday night after a shooting along International Drive, the Orange County Sheriff's Office said.
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla - A 16-year-old boy was taken to the hospital Friday night after a shooting along International Drive, the Orange County Sheriff's Office said.
The shooting happened around 11:30 p.m. in the 8700 block of International Drive, not far from ICON Park where, hours earlier, deputies responded to reports of fighting between juveniles.
A spokesperson for the Orange County Sheriff's Office said the two incidents are separate and not connected.
The teenage boy was transported to the hospital in critical condition. An update on his condition was not available Saturday night, OCSO said.
No details on what led to the shooting or potential suspects have been released.
