The Orange County Sheriff's Office is investigating two different crime scenes that are separated by just a few blocks.  However, it remains unclear if the two incidents are connected.

Around 8 p.m., there were reports of shots being fired at a Sunoco gas station at the intersection of Fairvilla and Old Winter Garden roads.

Deputies had the gas station blocked off shortly before 10 p.m.  Witnesses said there were multiple shots were fired between cars but no victims were reported.

A FOX 35 News crew saw that several markers were placed in the parking lot of the gas station and it appeared there were bullet holes in at least one vehicle at the scene.  This investigation is ongoing.

Earlier in the day and less than a mile away, there was a large law enforcement presence near W. Colonial Drive and Mercy Drive.

Deputies responded to a small car dealership at 4398 West Colonial Drive around 4:30 p.m.  An injured man was located in the parking lot of the business and transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center. A spokesman with the Sheriff's Office said the man later died.  Detectives said the investigation is also ongoing.
