Deputies investigate shooting in Cocoa
COCOA, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Deputies with the Brevard County Sheriff's Office responded to a shooting incident in Cocoa on Wednesday afternoon that left three men injured.
Deputies were called to the TTC Tax Refund Business, at 1383 Clearlake Road, around 1:30 p.m. in response to a 911 call advising that shots had been fired. Deputies arrived on scene to find the three victims with gunshot wounds. Two of the victims were transported to area hospitals -- one was airlifted in critical condition and the other was driven by ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries.
The full circumstances that led to the shootings are still under investigation. The identities of the victims were not immediately released.
Homicide agents and Crime Scene Investigators were still processing the scene for evidence and interviewing witnesses early Wednesday evening. Detectives said this shooting incident appears to be isolated and all parties involved have been identified.
