Construction near Ocoee capital planned
OCOEE, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - The City of Ocoee says there will be several roads near the city's capital under construction beginning on August 30th.
They say that the milling and resurfacing will take place during September and October with most of the work being done at night. Motorists can expect delays with single lane closures. The city does not expect any detours.
Hubbard Construction work crews will be on the roads at these locations and dates:
- Geneva Street (Maguire Road to Bluford Avenue) – Thursday, August 30
- Orlando Avenue/White Road (From Bluford Avenue to Clarke Road, and White Road east of the Clarke Road intersection) – Week of September 4
- Story Road (Maguire to the 429 Expressway) - Week of September 24
- Tomyn Road (Maguire Road, west to city limits) – Week of October 1
- Malcom Road area and Tiger Minor Park – Week of October 15
- Marshall Farms Road (From Maguire Road and Colonial Drive) – Week of October 22
