Orlando Weather Forecast: January 6, 2025

FOX 35 Storm Team Meteorologist Brooks Garner shares an update on the Monday forecast in Orlando and the Central Florida region.

As temperatures have dropped due to the arctic air moving through Central Florida, cold weather shelters have begun to open across the state.

Below is a list of current shelters open in each Central Florida county:

Flagler County:

Locations:

  • The Sheltering Tree, 205 N Pine St, Bunnell, FL 32110
  • The Rock Transformation Center, 2200 N State St, Bunnell, FL 32110

Hours: 

  • Open 5 p.m. - 8 a.m.

Lake County:

Location:

  • LifePointe Church, 3551 E Orange Ave, Eustis, FL 32736

Hours: 

  • Open 5 p.m. - 7 a.m.

Warming station location:

  • The Salvation Army, 2605 South St., in Leesburg

Hours: 

  • Open 7:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Volusia County:

Locations:

  • Bridge at The Neighborhood Center, 421 S. Palmetto Avenue, DeLand Fl

Hours: 

  • Open 6:30 p.m. - 8 a.m.
