Orlando PM Weather Forecast: Christmas Day 2024

It's been gray and gloomy Christmas Day across Central Florida, but we haven't seen a lot of rain. Meteorologist T.J. Springer lets us know if we'll see any more showers as Christmas and the First Day of Hanukkah winds down.

An upper level disturbance, along with onshore flow, has made for a somewhat gloomy Christmas.

Rain chances stay limited, but they'll increase a little bit tonight as the lift becomes a bit greater.

As this wave shifts to the northeast on Thursday, Central Floridians will actually see a bit more sunshine. As a result, temperatures look to climb back above average.

Shoppers may get lucky the day after Christmas with only a stray shower or two predicted.

Onshore flow will increase on Friday along with another piece of energy ejecting toward Central Florida. That means shower chances become a little higher, as well.

We'll hold onto the onshore breeze into Saturday, but chances for rain are looking slightly lower.

They then jump up a bit on Sunday as our next cold front swings through the region.

Instability looks to spike, as well, and that makes for potential thunderstorms.

Behind this system, the clouds clear and temperatures drop back into the lower and middle 70s as we round out 2024 and ring in 2025.

We also look to usher in the New Year with plenty of sunshine.
