Brevard County man sitting in the road killed in crash

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - A man is dead after a car hit him while he sat in the middle of the road.

The incident happened on Saturday night on U.S. 1 near Barefoot Bay Boulevard in Brevard County.

The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) says that a car swerved trying to miss Robert Tobiankski, but ended up hitting him.

Troopers are not sure why he was sitting in the street.
