Boy on bicycle struck by car

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - A 10-year-old boy is in the hospital after being hit by a car. The crash happened minutes after he left West Ridge Middle School, at 3800 W Oak Ridge Rd, Orlando.

Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol said the child and was riding his bicycle across Oak Ridge Road when he was struck. Investigators tell us the boy's injuries are not severe.

Troopers said the boy was in a crosswalk at the time of the incident.
