BCSO: Wife shot husband, bullet lodged in private area

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Victoria Reid is being held at the Brevard County Jail on a $35,000 bond.

Brevard County deputies charged Reid with aggravated assault and domestic violence.

Deputies say Reid was arguing with her husband of 16 years.

According to the arrest affidavit, Reid pulled a gun and ordered her husband to sit on the couch to discuss his extra-marital affair.

Deputies said she then threated to maim him and to give him PTSD like she had.

The BCSO says Reid continued taunting her husband, threatening to kill him or shoot him in the chest of face.

According to investigators, Reid shot her husband in the left leg near his knee. Deputies say the bullet traveled up the husband leg and got lodged in his testicles.
