DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Daytona Beach police officers have made an arrest in a gruesome, months-old death investigation.
Nelci Tetley, 67, is charged with first-degree murder in the killing of Jeffrey Albertsman, 55.
On July 25, 2017, officers were asked to do a wellbeing check at 1222 North St. They discovered the badly decomposed body of a man who they said had been shot in the head. The man’s body was also missing both arms and legs.
Roughly two months later, arms and legs were found in a fernery in western Volusia County and identified as belonging to Albertsman.
Tetley was arrested on Thursday and booked into the Volusia County Jail.
