WINTER PARK, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - New details have been released about the man accused of killing a Winter Park nanny.
The accused killer, Scott Nelson, is accused of murdering Winter Park nanny Jennifer Fulford in September. Nelson has written several letters to the judge. His first letter said that the nanny was not the first person he killed, but his latest letter asks for some odd requests before his trial.
The latest letter asks the judge to require his attorney file paperwork so that Nelson can get more food. He also writes that he wants his high school yearbook from 1982. And, in a previous letter to the judge, Nelson said he wants a pen pal.
Nelson has claimed that he is a serial murderer who has killed 7 times before. He also claimed to be the man behind numerous unsolved bank robberies.
Nelson's trial was scheduled for Monday, June 11th, but it was delayed while doctors tried to figure out if he is competent enough to stand trial.
