Just moments after a late-night crash on Interstate 95, an off-duty Flagler County Sheriff’s Office detective, who had been out having dinner with his family, jumped into action.

PALM COAST, Fla. - Six people are hurt, including 2 children, after a crash on I-95 in Palm Coast on Monday night.

Authorities say this happened just after 9 p.m. The Florida Highway Patrol says one of the vehicles burst into flames.

Troopers say a 7-year-old girl and an 8-year-old boy were transported to a hospital but are expected to recover from their injuries.

The other victims had minor injuries.
