5-year-old accidentally shoots herself in leg inside Deltona home, deputies say

DELTONA, Fla. - A 5-year-old was rushed to the hospital after accidentally shooting herself Saturday, Volusia County deputies said. 

The shooting happened around 12:47 p.m. inside a home on Boxedler Street in Deltona.

She was taken to the hospital for treatment. Her current condition is unknown. 

The incident is under investigation.
