ORLANDO, Fla. - Two men suffered from apparent gunshot wounds in Osceola County on Monday evening, and one of them died investigators said.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office said it received multiple calls reporting shots fired in the area of Tampa Avenue around 8 p.m. on Monday. When deputies arrived on the scene they located two Black men with apparent gunshot wounds. One male was located inside a vehicle and the other was on the ground. The man on the ground died at the scene while the other was transported to a hospital. The sheriff's office earlier reported that both men had died.
"We have very limited information on what actually started this – well, it's a firefight because it looked like it went both ways. We have very limited information… and we don't have any witnesses, other than the people who called," Osceola County Sheriff Marcos Lopez told FOX 35 News.
This is an active and ongoing investigation.
