SANFORD, Fla. - Two people were taken to the hospital Sunday afternoon – at least one as a trauma alert – after two boats collided with one another at Cameron Wright Park.
In a social media post late Sunday, the Seminole County Fire Department said 2 people were taken to the hospital, one as a trauma alert, and that six others refused treatment or to be taken to the hospital, suggesting their injuries, if any, were minor.

The circumstances surrounding the apparent crash were not immediately available.
Photos shared by the Seminole County Fire Department showed at least two ambulances on scene, as well as one of the department's air rescue boats. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission were also on scene with one of their boats.
