Police are conducting a homicide investigation after a married couple was found dead in their apartment
MOUNT DORA, Fla. - Police are investigating the death of a husband and wife who were found dead inside a senior living community apartment in Mount Dora Saturday afternoon as a homicide.
The Mount Dora Police Department said its officers responded to a report of potentially suspicious activity at Waterman Village on Waterman Avenue around 4 p.m. When officers arrived, they found an 83-year-old male and an 80-year-old woman both dead.

The Mount Dora Police Department say the death of a couple living in a senior living community is now being investigated as a homicide
Detectives are working to learn how the two died. The victims' identities have not been released at this time.
