Investigation launched after deadly Orange County house fire deemed suspicious

Two people were killed and one person has been injured in an early morning house fire in Orange County. Now, the fire is being investigated as possible arson, and the deaths suspicious, authorities said.

Two people were killed and one person has been injured in an early morning house fire in Orange County.  Now, the fire is being investigated as possible arson, and the deaths "suspicious," authorities said.

Firefighters responded to the home on the 6000 block of Pompeii Road in Orlando around 4:40 a.m. 

"This morning when I woke up at 7:46, that’s when I saw all the fire trucks and all that," a neighbor, Iris Vargas, said. "I just thought it was a car accident because I didn’t hear anything."

Officials said two people died. A third person was transported to AdventHealth East with injuries.

Neighbor's tell FOX 35 News that a couple lived in that home. One of them said she knew the husband who lives there.

"I’m very sorry," neighbor Loretta Sytnik said. "He was very, very nice. I’ve loved talking to him in the morning. He was always happy."
