$10M awarded to help build Pulse Nightclub Memorial

ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - The onePULSE Foundation on Monday announced that it has been awarded up to $10 million for a permanent museum.

The onePULSE Foundation is the official nonprofit organization managing the design, construction, and operation of the permanent memorial to the June 12, 2016 tragedy.  The funds, collected in hotel-tax revenues by the Orange County Board of County Commissioners will help it acquire land and create designs for its proposed museum.

During the BCC meeting, the members present unanimously approved the funding.
