1 killed in crash on US 17-92 near Maitland, troopers say

A pedestrian was killed following a collision with a vehicle on US 17-92 and Spartan Drive in the Maitland area, troopers said.

The Florida Highway Patrol said the crash happened around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday.

A portion of the intersection is currently blocked as troopers investigate.

The driver remained at the scene.
