ORLANDO, Fla. - A man was shot and killed near the intersection of Rio Grande Avenue and 22nd Street in Orange County on Monday night, according to deputies.
At the time of the incident, Rio Grande Avenue was closed to traffic in both directions between 22nd and 23rd streets while homicide detectives investigated.

Deputies arrived at the scene just before 9 p.m. in response to reports of a shooting. They found a man in his 50s who had been shot. He was transported to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.
The victim was identified as 53-year-old Andre Pierre Alloway, according to a Wednesday afternoon update from the sheriff's office.
