Orlando police arrest suspect after man found dead at apartment building
ORLANDO, Fla. - A suspect is being charged with murder after a man was found dead at an apartment complex in Orlando, according to officials with the Orlando Police Department.
Officers initially responded to the Avalyn West apartments on December 18 after reports of a suspicious incident. Upon arrival, they discovered 46-year-old Jerome Thomas deceased, according to police.
Officials later arrested 50-year-old Carleton Sealey on Saturday in connection with the murder, according to a police release.
Sealey is facing charges of first-degree murder with a firearm, home invasion robbery, burglary with assault/battery with a firearm and fraudulent use of credit cards exceeding $100.
The investigation remains ongoing.
