FOX 35 Feed-A-Thon: Help us collect food, supplies for Central Florida families in need
Join the FOX 35 Orlando's Care Force for Feed-A-Thon 2024! We are partnering with Walmart and Elevation Church for a food drive to benefit One Heart for Women and Children ahead of the holidays.
All proceeds will support Central Florida families facing food scarcity. We're collecting non-perishable food items, gift cards, baby supplies, and household items.
We'll be at the Walmart Supercenter near UCF's campus, 11250 E. Colonial Drive, Orlando, FL 32817, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8, 2024.
Here are the items most in need:
- Walmart gift cards (for perishables)
- Canned meats like tuna and chicken
- Pasta
- Macaroni & cheese
- Rice
- Dry beans
- Canned soups
- Meals in a can
- Nutritional drinks
- Baby formula and food
- Diapers
- Paper plates
- Paper towels
- Pet food
