Children and animals found living in filth

An Edgewater man called 911, saying he was frustrated with the mess at his home and was leaving his wife and live-in girlfriend. Police said he wanted to take his three children with him. Police removed 245 animals from the home, including dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, reptiles and more than 100 rats and mice.
