Stabbing near UCF campus late Tuesday night

ORLANDO, Fla (WOFL FOX 35) - A man was stabbed near the campus of the University of Central Florida Tuesday night and the attacker has still not been found as of Wednesday morning. 

According to deputies the incident occurred late Tuesday night at a home in the 4200 block of Kingbird Court, which is just a few blocks from the UCF campus. 

Investigators say the 20-year-old man was outside a friend's home when he was approached by his attacker. From there a fight occurred between the two leading to the stabbing.  

Detectives have not released any information on the person they are looking for. The victim is in stable condition.
