Sanford Police need your help to find to bring a little girl home. They say three-month-old Na'tori Mazion was abducted by her father, Tedrick, a man they say hasn't been a part of her life, till now.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) says that 3-month-old Na'tori is about 1 foot, 9 inches tall and 11 pounds. She was last seen in the 400th block of West Seminole Boulevard in Sanford. She wqas wearing a pink and grey shirt with the word 'Princess' engraved on it. She was wearing clera gel shoes and a pink head band.
The FDLE also says that she may be in the company of 31-year-old Tedrick Mazion. He has a beard and was wearing a white tank top, blue jean shorts, and red sandals. They may be traveling in a 2017 red Nissan Altima with the Florida tag 4ALWY. The car has black rims and black tint.
The Sanford Police Department confirmed that Tedrick is the biological father of the child. The dad does not have custody and has never been a part of the child's life. He is said to have barged into the apartment where the child was on Sunday morning around 8:38 a.m. He pushed several people out of the way and grabbed the baby. Na'tori's mother attempted to stop Tedrick, but he fled the scene in the Nissan Altima stated above.
“The father really didn't have that much interaction with his daughter since her birth. Investigators have been able to reveal that this is considered a kidnapping,” said Sanford Police spokesman Ronny Neal. He went on to say that “There's been incidents in the past between the mother and the father that led to this point."
Neal didn’t believe Na'tori was in immediate danger. “There is no information that's been given to us to believe that the father would harm the daughter,” he said.
But Neal said getting her back was top priority. “Anytime we have a child removed from a home or in jeopardy, or in any type of danger, we take that seriously.”
